ORIGINAL LANDLORDSAn exploration of fashion and design through technology and traditional textile manufacturing seen through an indigenous lens.
A lifestyle brand by artist and designer Jeremy Donavan Arviso created during the Coronavirus Pandemic outbreak of 2019.
The name itself, taken from the title of a reggae album by Hopi artist Casper Lomayesva for a t-shirt design in 2011.
The idea behind the label is that Indigenous and American Indians have been on these lands since time immemorial and are the sacred land keepers.
Our lands, our air, our culture and people have been appropriated for hundreds of years. We're taking it back as the Original Landlords and rent is long overdue.
HMU by Double Trouble Hair & Makeup.
